FCH Auxiliary
Fayette County Hospital’s Auxiliary recently celebrated its 50 year anniversary! Throughout those years the Auxiliary has continued to carry out its mission of raising funds to support projects, purchase new equipment and improve services offered at FCH as well as educate the community about the hospital.

Auxiliary Accomplishments
With the funds raised from fundraisers, the gift shop and other events, the auxiliary has been able to assist the hospital with the purchase of new equipment and other projects. Accomplishments include:
- Purchase of new wheelchairs
- Purchase of a new ambulance
- New flat screen TV’s throughout patient rooms
Community Involvement
Every June the FCH Auxiliary is proud to award two $1,000 scholarships to two Fayette County residents who are pursuing a career in the medical field.

Auxiliary Membership
Fayette County Hospital’s Auxiliary membership is very diverse, with different backgrounds, ages and occupations represented. There are currently 48 members with 30 of them activley volunteering within the hospital.
Membership is open to all women and men who are interested in fulfulling the Auxiliary’s objectives. Membership dues for the Auxiliary are $5.00 per year. Auxiliary volunteers are required to wear a jacket which must be purchased for $5.00.
Applications can be obtained from the front desk at the main entrance of the hospital. You may complete and return the application to the front desk or gift shop. Please be aware that it is required for Fayette County Hospital to do a background check on all volunteers and employees.
