Weekend/after-hours lab services available, but must first register in the Emergency Department. For urgent needs, our Laboratory operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring rapid turnaround times and accurate diagnostics.

The SBL Fayette County Hospital Laboratory performs quality testing in microbiology, blood bank, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, coagulation, and serology. Employing experienced phlebotomists, clinical lab scientists and technicians, the lab processes more than 150,000 tests each year. The lab ensures the highest level of proficiency in the testing of these specimens by adhering to strict standards set by The Joint Commission and CLIA. For specimens requiring additional testing or consultation, the lab maintains relationships with LabCorp Laboratories and other approved reference laboratories to guarantee high-quality and timely results. This critical access laboratory is dedicated to providing reliable and comprehensive laboratory services to support the health and well-being of our community.
