Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital will offer sports physicals for athletes for the 2025-2026 school year.
The physicals will be performed in SBL FCH Express Care, located at 1442 North 8th St., Suite C, in Vandalia on four separate days: 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, July 19; 2 to 6 pm on Tuesday, July 22; 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, August 2; and 2 to 6 pm on Tuesday, August 5.
Physicals will be performed by Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Kim Peery, APRN. The physicals are $20 each, and all fees collected will be donated to the schools’ sports boosters in Bond, Fayette and Marion counties.
Cash or checks only will be accepted. Make checks payable to Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital.
Appointments are not needed. Insurance will not be billed, nor will insurance co-pays be collected. A parent or legal guardian must be present and complete the medical history forms. The physicals do not meet the kindergarten, sixth or ninth grade physical requirements.
