Job Summary: The Revenue Cycle Supervisor leads and works with assigned staff to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations for the Patient Financial Services department, Health Information Management department, and Registration department. This position provides planning and oversight to revenue cycle staff and sees that established policies and procedures are adhered to. Monitors the quality and work performance of individual staff as well as those of the work team. Meets regularly with the Chief Compliance Office and reports any concerns related to compliance and/or revenue cycle.
Operationally, the supervisor will

coordinate billing and coding activities,

ensure timely and accurate coding and billing services provided,

ensure maximum reimbursement,

oversight of collections process,

analyze trends,

provide data and prepare reports,

and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external clients.
